Rebecca Zerilla Cannon is a Memphis-based designer who loves making everything from invitations to logos to custom stationary. Her design aesthetic is simple with an unexpected twist, and she loves creating designs that are modern and vintage at the same time.
Rebecca earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in Graphic design at the University of Mississippi, and it was when Rebecca graduated that she won an International design competition in New York City.
From there, Rebecca worked as a Creative Team Leader and Art Director for a major Memphis advertising agency, where she led creative projects and executed concepts, but she reached a point where she was ready for something more hands-on. So, Rebecca started teaching art at a local public middle school. It was a great compromise because, by day, she worked with her students to help them express themselves through visual art, but by night, she worked as a freelance graphic designer for small businesses and local brides.
Finally, after six years of hard work and a lot of late nights in her studio, Zerilla Design was born. Rebecca's time is split between working with paper making invitations and stationary and working at my computer making graphics for regional companies.
